Michael A. Odegard

Michael A. Odegard joined the CenturyPacific team in 2022. Mr. Odegard brings over a decade of unique commercial real estate experience in asset management, brokerage, property management, and direct investment. From managing Class A assets in the greater Seattle area on behalf of institutional firms to leading underwriting efforts and executing multifamily acquisition opportunities on behalf of individual investors, Mr. Odegard is a diligent and dedicated advisor with unwavering client focus and attention to detail. Mr. Odegard has considerable experience in construction management, leading projects across various product types. Prior to joining CenturyPacific, Mr. Odegard was a Real Estate Manager with CBRE as well as a principal of a multifamily investment venture. Mr. Odegard studied History and Business Management at the University of Idaho, has completed real estate continuing education courses administered by Cornell University and the Institute of Real Estate Management, and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate.

Katherine K. Laird
PRINCIPAL
Katherine K. Laird joined CenturyPacific in 2000, bringing years of experience as a former land use attorney. Ms. Laird assists public and private clients with a variety of real estate and land use issues, including permitting of development projects, negotiating development conditions agreements with governmental authorities, entitlement work and rezoning, and investment and lease brokerage. Ms. Laird provides project management services for projects of all sizes, from ground-up construction to tenant improvements—ranging from interviewing and assembling the development team to construction oversight and project closeout. Prior to joining CenturyPacific in 2000, Ms. Laird was a partner in Davis Wright Tremaine LLP’s Real Estate and Land Use practice group. Ms. Laird earned a bachelor’s degree at Pennsylvania State University and a law degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (cum laude, Order of the Coif).

Michael E. Finch

Michael E. Finch joined CenturyPacific as a principal in 2008. With over 25-years of professional experience, Mr. Finch is a trusted advisor and skilled advocate—providing comprehensive advisory and brokerage services to public and private companies, government agencies, non-profits, trusts and families. Mr. Finch has facilitated complex transactions totaling in excess of $1 billion across various product types, geographic markets, and scale. Prior to CenturyPacific, Mr. Finch was Manager of Acquisitions and Leasing at Wright Runstad & Company, responsible for the firm’s portfolio in four western states. Mr. Finch holds advanced degrees from MIT (Master of Science in Real Estate Development, Master of City Planning, Certificate in Urban Design), and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington (Community Environment Planning). Mr. Finch is a former Rocky Mountain Institute Konheim Fellow, has served on a number of nonprofit boards including Seattle Works, EarthCorps, and the Downtown Everett Association, and has served on the City of Everett Planning Commission since 2019.

Steven L. Wood
Steven L. Wood is a principal and founder of CenturyPacific. Mr. Wood, an active member of the Puget Sound real estate community since the early-1980s, has nearly four decades of experience in evaluating, negotiating, and structuring complex real estate projects, ventures and transactions. He has structured and negotiated over $3 billion in acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, leases, land developments and other real estate investments. Prior to founding CenturyPacific, Mr. Wood served seven years as a Marine Corps and Federal Prosecutor, and ten years with Burlington Northern Railroad as both a Tax Lawyer and the Senior Executive of its real estate subsidiary. Mr. Wood has served on a number of nonprofit boards including The Bush School and the Seattle Parks Foundation.
