Katherine K. Laird

Katherine K. Laird joined CenturyPacific in 2000, bringing to the team her years of experience as a former land use attorney. Ms. Laird assists public and private clients with a variety of real estate and land use issues, from permitting of development projects and negotiating agreements with governmental authorities regarding development conditions; entitlement work, including rezones as required for proposed projects; drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, easements and other transaction documents and advising clients on environmental issues relating to business operations and real estate transactions. Ms. Laird provides project management services for projects of all sizes, from ground-up construction to tenant improvements – ranging from interviewing and assembling the development team to construction oversight and project closeout.


Prior to joining CenturyPacific in 2000, Ms. Laird was a partner in the Real Estate and Land Use department of Davis Wright Tremaine. Ms. Laird earned her bachelor’s degree at Pennsylvania State University in Political Science, her law degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, cum laude, Order of the Coif.

For the past 28 years CenturyPacific has been a great partner in helping The Seattle Times and the Blethen family acquire and dispose of over $225 million in properties.
